  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. In a greased baking dish, layer the following: marinara sauce, half the ravioli, half the ricotta mixture, and one cup of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers finishing with marinara sauce and remaining mozzarella on top.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Allow to sit for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped basil.
